about

Foz The Hook admires the shameful and disgraceful, self-loathing scribblings of St. Louis' great playwright, Tennessee Williams. We assume, were he still alive, he would reciprocate. So we chose our favorite lyrical poems from his catalogue, partnered up with our favorite homonyminous duo from the Show Me State (Kate and Cait of The Kates), added a couple of standards because, you know, we have a hard time not playing songs we like and saw this as an excuse to record them.
So, grab your gentleman caller, gather a bouquet of jonquils, and a sack of southern comfort and blow out your candles with The Old Lady Died: A Shameful Affair.

Thanks to:
Tennessee Williams, The Kates (Kate Adams and Caitlin Bowes), Erin Nekervis (photographer, call her for headshots), Coleman Brice and the staff at Cole's, Tom Waits and Willie Nelson, Leah Raffanti Stonehouse for letting her apartment be used as a recording studio and heroically saying, "It's fine", Amanda, Tom, Laura, and the Gentleman Caller.
